2022 Pinot Gris

White Wine

This quintessential South Okanagan favourite was grown on the Western slopes of Oliver and Osoyoos. Whole clusters were carefully pressed in small batches then fermented at cooler temperatures in stainless steel tanks and finished in neutral oak barrels. Delicate straw colour with brilliant clarity. The result is generous on the nose with stone fruit, baked pear and a fresh palate of bright citrus and juicy apples. The palate is soft and textured due to a small portion of barrel fermentation in neutral/old oak barriques which is new for this year.

Stelvin® closure

“In terms of mouthfeel, this wine is generous and sumptuous, which adds to the charm of the wine. Pinot Gris is the most widely grown white grape varietal in the Okanagan and this one leads the way. A premium and well-priced showcase wine. 90 points” – Carl’s Wine Club

“91 points – An intense nose of ripe pear, orchard blossom and tropical fruit with some savoury tea leaf notes. Off-dry in style with honeyed richness, honeydew melon, peach and a little baking spice with good length” – Rhys Pender, MW, Judge at WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada.
