Maverick Wine Club Frequently Asked Questions

Wine Club is fun and we’ve tried to keep it simple. Got questions? We have answers!

Absolutely! You’ll receive courtesy emails to let you know it’s time to choose your wines.

Wines are shipped in temperature-controlled vehicles by ATS Courier. We reserve the right to use an alternate courier. We may also hold shipments due to extreme temperatures. We will let you know in advance if this occurs. We also reserve the right to charge a delivery surcharge for remote or hard-to-reach addresses.

Unfortunately not. Your wine cannot be left unattended. It needs to be signed for by someone of legal drinking age in the province of shipping. Give us a call and we’ll see what we can do.

The courier will leave a door knocker, please contact them directly to arrange a new delivery date.

Shipping to a business address is recommended. You can always change your shipping address to a place of work or we can make the change for you. We are happy to delay your shipment. If you are away for an extended period we recommend shipping to a friend or office that can hold your wine for you.

Of course! Just let us know if you would prefer to pick up your wine and we’ll have it ready for you.

Sorry, but we can only hold your shipment for the duration of the pick-up window. We are a small winery with very little space and storage is tight.

Wine Club members have access to wines not yet released to the public so this a good opportunity to add to your shipment. We can also help you with your selection, just give us a call at 778-437-3133 or shoot us an email at info@maverickwine.ca and we’ll be happy to help.

As a valued club member you have access to more wines than anyone else including our limited availability wines, low production wines and library wines when available. Log into your wine club account to view all the wines available or email info@maverickwine.ca to inquire about a specific wine that you are interested in.

Absolutely! You’ll receive courtesy emails before shipping to let you know it’s time to choose your wines. You can choose ANY six bottles from those currently available.

The Winemaker makes a hand-picked selection just before each shipment, watch for the email that will let you know what wines to expect along with the shipping date. Want to customize this selection? Simply log into your account and you can choose any six bottles of any of the wines that are currently available.

As long as you want! Your commitment is for one year, after which you are free to cancel or put your membership on hold up to 30 days before the next shipment.

Sure thing. If you want to switch simply log into your account and add the new club you want and cancel the old one you don’t want. Or give us a call at 778-437-3133 or shoot us an email at info@maverickwine.ca and we’ll be happy to make the switch for you.

You will receive heads-up emails to let you know there’s an upcoming shipment. Your credit card will be charged mid-month of the month of shipping (ie. mid-March, mid-June, mid-September and if you are in the Quarterly Club, mid-December). We will email you a receipt upon payment.

At any time you can log into ‘my account’ on our website www.maverickwine.ca at the top right corner of the homepage. You can update your settings, change your shipping address (even temporarily if you are going to be away), add a different credit card. Or if you prefer, just give us a call at 778-437-3133 or shoot us an email at info@maverickwine.ca and we’ll handle it for you.

Yes, please. Although walk-ins are accepted if space is available, reservations are given priority.
